About the Diabetes Education Service:
The Diabetes Education Service at Austin Health provides high quality, best practice education and support for paediatric and adult patients living with diabetes, their family members and support persons in hospital and in our outpatient clinics. We provide inpatient and outpatient diabetes education across the three Austin Health sites: Austin Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, and the Royal Talbot Hospital, as well as working closely with our community partners.
About the role:
This position is located within the Medical & Cancer Services Division. The Diabetes Clinical Nurse Consultant employed in this fixed-term part-time position (1 days per week), will provide diabetes education for paediatric and young adult inpatients and outpatients, across both the Austin Hospital and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital sites. Some off-site travel may be required.
