About this opportunity
Reporting directly to Senior Manager, Design, the Design Delivery Manager leads VEC's design delivery team within Design and Production. The role overseas the quality management and delivery of key election materials including, ballot material, instructional manuals, reports, statutory advertising and other products that support the delivery of election activities across Victoria.
About the team
The Event Strategy and Delivery (ESD) portfolio is responsible for planning and delivering election operations for State, local government and fee-for service elections. Design and Production sit within the Program Delivery function and support the delivery of accurate, accessible and high-quality election materials and publications.
A day in the life of the Design Delivery Manager
You will be at the centre of design delivery for election operations, helping keep work structured, accurate and on track when timelines are tight and priorities shift. You will translate product and legislative requirements into clear design briefs that help guide your team from concept through to final output and oversee the quality of materials that must meet VEC standards.
You will work with production, operations, and other stakeholders to coordinate workflow, manage templates and file systems, own accessibility requirements, and improve processes over time. By anticipating issues early and bringing a calm practical approach, you help the team deliver professional, branded and compliant outputs during high-pressure election cycles.
