About the role
The Dermatology department at Western Health are seeking enthusiastic consultant Dermatologists to join our team!
The Dermatology team provides a range of services including adult and paediatric specialised clinics, Ultraviolet light therapy and an inpatient consult service. We also offer minor surgical and medical treatments. Our services primarily span across Footscray, Sunshine and Melton sites.
With a range of positions and hours available including permanent part-time, fixed term and casual - the successful candidates will have the opportunity to work within our Footscray, Sunshine and/or Melton clinics depending on preference, interest and availability. Applicants who can support the on-call roster is highly desirable.
Our amazing team includes specialised consultant Dermatologists, Registrars, a Biologics Clinical Nurse Consultant and Residents. Working collaboratively, the team pride themselves on providing high quality diagnosis, treatment and management of a wide range of skin conditions for our community in the West. The unit participates in complex case discussion, grand rounds and ongoing education.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
