About this opportunity
Reporting directly to Senior Manager, Centralised delivery, this role is responsible for providing end-to-end operational leadership across a 24-hour shift-based model to support delivery of the 2026 Victorian State Election. The Deputy Site Manager ensures the safe, secure, and efficient delivery of centralised electoral operations, including counting, postal vote processing, vote exchange, and hub coordination.

The Event Strategy & Delivery portfolio is responsible for the end-to-end management of election operations for State, local government, and fee-for-service elections. This includes:
A day in the life of a Deputy Site Manager
As Deputy Site Manager, you will help lead day-to-day operations at CAS+ during the SE2026 General Election. A typical shift may include coordinating counting and postal vote activities, supporting workforce management, monitoring operational risks, and responding to issues in real time to keep operations running smoothly.
You will work closely with Team Leaders, and other operational areas to maintain safe, secure, and efficient election delivery. The role operates within a 24-hour shift environment and may require acting on behalf of the Site Manager during peak periods or operational incidents.
