Are you an experienced and motivated medical leader ready to shape the future of anaesthetic services in one of Victoria’s most progressive regional health services? Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Director of Anaesthetics to support the leadership of our Anaesthetics Department within the Surgical and Perioperative Services Division on a Part Time, Fixed Term basis.
As a senior leader, you will work closely with the Director of Anaesthetics to provide clinical leadership, operational management, and strategic input to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centred anaesthetic services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in service development, workforce sustainability, and the advancement of clinical excellence, teaching, and research across Gippsland.
About the Role
The Deputy Director of Anaesthetics supports the Director in providing clinical leadership and operational management of the Anaesthetics Department. This senior role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and contemporary anaesthetic services across the organisation, contributing to workforce planning, education, service development, and clinical governance.

Now is an exciting time to join the LRH team, with the $223.5 million expansion completed in March 2024, offering improved maternity and paediatric facilities, larger intensive care unit, increased medical and surgical beds and additional operating theatres.
