About the role
The Delivery PMO Officer plays a key role in supporting the strategic, coordinated, and consistent delivery of Parks Victoria's major capital projects and infrastructure and asset management programs. Working as part of the Infrastructure and Assets Division, the position contributes to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, portfolio management processes, and performance monitoring systems that underpin the effective and transparent delivery of infrastructure investments.
This role provides support to ensure programs and projects are delivered in line with organisational priorities, risk management requirements, and government reporting obligations. It supports the coordination of portfolio prioritisation, program scheduling, and project performance tracking to enable informed decision-making by senior leaders and the Executive Team.
The Delivery PMO also contributes to organisational capability building by supporting the application of best-practice project management methodologies and tools. This includes working collaboratively with project managers, regional delivery teams, technical specialists, and corporate partners to embed consistent project delivery standards, improve forecasting and reporting accuracy, and enhance governance and accountability.
