Data Governance Lead (AO81- AO85)
About the Role
This is a Permanent Full-Time position at 80 hours per fortnight (incl ADO) within the Performance and Information Management Department in the Division of Digital & Allied Health.
You are responsible for leading the design and implementation of a robust data governance framework, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security standards are consistently applied across RCH. In this role you work strategically with key stakeholders to embed effective data management practices that enable the secure, efficient, and standardised use of data.
Classification for this position will range from AO8, Year 1 to Year 5 ($121,274.40 - $133,842.80 per annum pro rata)

About the Department
The Performance and Information Management Department supports RCH’s vision of “a world where all kids thrive” by enabling high quality, timely and secure data to support clinical, operational and strategic decision making.
It supports the Allied and Digital Health Division and consists of the Decision Support Unit (DSU) and Health Information Services (HIS), together forming a highly specialised and strategically important workforce. DSU brings expertise in analytics, data architecture, funding models, organisational performance, and strategic advisory, while HIS contributes essential skills in coding, documentation quality, privacy management, data governance, and the stewardship of mandatory reporting datasets.
