Data and Research Officer – ANZSA
• Fixed Term 12-month contract, with the possibility to become ongoing
• Part time role – 32 Hours per Fortnight
• Classification: HS1 Salary Range, dependent on Candidate Experience

About the team
The Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association (ANZSA) is the peak body for the sarcoma community. ANZSA aims to improve outcomes for sarcoma patients through research, education and awareness of sarcomas and related tumours.
About the role
The Data and Research Officer will be responsible for performing tasks to support the data management activities of the Australia and New Zealand Sarcoma Association’s Sarcoma Clinical Registry and research support for studies sponsored by the ANZSA. Database tasks include collection of clinical data from the Hospital electronic medical records and accurate data entry into the Sarcoma Clinical Registry, maintenance of current records and ensuring follow up and treatment information is up to date. Research support tasks include items such as project payments, ethics applications and reporting.
Remuneration as per Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025. Grade 1: Level 1 (HS1): $58,442.80 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) - Grade 1: Level 5 (HS17): $64,610.00 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time), dependent on candidate experience. About you
You’ll bring with you:
• Experience with data entry into registries/databases or similar
• Strong comprehension of medical terminology, with the ability to interpret medical records for required information
• Proficient computer skills including use of spreadsheets, databases, and word processing packages
• Accurate data entry with an excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team member or autonomously as required
• Highly organised, methodical worker with the ability to prioritise work
• Able to work independently, be self-directed and capable of working to deadlines
• Strong communication, organisation, written and verbal skills
