About the role
The Data and Reporting Analyst plays a key role in enhancing the quality, consistency, and reliability of Parks Victoria's financial and operational data. The position supports the Financial Performance team by applying modern analytics tools, AI‑supported processes, and business intelligence platforms to ensure data integrity, streamline reporting workflows, and improve access to timely, accurate insights across the organisation.
Working as part of the broader Finance and Business Services Directorate, the role contributes to the development and maintenance of standardised reporting suites, automated data validation processes, and improved data governance practices. The position assists with data extraction, cleansing, analysis, and transformation activities, while supporting the optimisation of month‑end processes and continuous improvement of reporting systems. This role plays a critical part in strengthening organisational decision‑making through high‑quality, consistent, and trusted data.
About Parks Victoria
Parks Victoria is a statutory authority of the Victorian Government responsible for managing a diverse estate of more than 4 million hectares including 3,000 land and marine parks and reserves making up 18 per cent of Victoria's landmass, 75 per cent of Victoria's wetlands and 70 per cent of Victoria's coastline. Victoria's parks are home to more than 4,300 native plants and around 1,000 native animal species.
