Wodonga Middle Years College caters for 1,000 students in Years 7 to 9 on three campuses.
The development of one Middle Years College with two campuses provides the flexibility associated with larger schools while still maintaining opportunities for the development of strong relationships and knowledge of student needs that is enhanced in smaller schools. The College also provides unique opportunities for teachers to develop extensive teaching expertise in this important stage of schooling - the middle years.

The Daily Organiser is responsible for the co-ordination, management and implementation of the daily organisational requirements of the College, across all three campuses, including the employment of casual relief teachers (CRT¿s), allocation of extras including classroom, yard duty and in-lieu classes
The Daily Organiser performs the following roles within the College under the direction of the College Principal.
To ensure the efficient operation of the College, within the constraints and guidelines determined by the Principal.
Arrange short term cover for teacher absences across the College, by the allocation of Extras, in-lieus and Casual Relief Teachers (CRT) cover on a daily basis.
Publish and email a list of the ¿extras¿ and other changes at the beginning of each day, including notifications of any ¿late¿ changes to daily arrangements.
Complete and keep accurate records of staff absences, school business, staff personal leave, extras, CRT's and their payment, informing and advising Principal, Assistant Principal, the Business Manager/HR Manager of these matters.
Monitor, plan for and work within the allocated CRT Replacement Budget.
Work in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager on the management of aspects of staff leave, WorkCover, and CRT employment processes.
Liaise with the Executive regarding rationalisation in relation to demands on timetable and covering classes for illness, PD, excursions, sport and other College activities, in a fair and equitable manner, while recognising qualifications and skills with particular class needs.
Work with the Timetabler in relation to coverage for special timetables including supervision rosters, rooms changes for special programs/ events e.g. guest speakers, assemblies, sport, excursions etc., ensuring that all staff are informed of these.
Liaise with Assistant Principals on a daily basis, and be an active member of the LCC.
Maintenance of an up to date Casual Relief register for the employment of CRTs including accurate records of extras, employment of casual relief teachers including weekly record sheets for the school and DET
Preparation of daily `extras¿ each morning, listing the staff absent for the day, together with arrangements for the covering of those classes.
To work with the Timetabler, Assistant Principal¿s, Human Resources Manager and Team Leaders, to ensure that staff and student timetable issues are resolved.
Ensure CRT and casual non-teaching staff are fully inducted and have an understanding of the required College policy and procedures
Ensure all staff are aware of the process relation to notification of staff absence, and their responsibility, where applicable, to leaving appropriate lesson plans and materials for their classes.
When staff and CRTs are not fulfilling their responsibilities, informing an Assistant Principal or Campus Principal about these matters.
Organise equipment, rooms and keys for CRT staff including a check that suitable class work has been left by absent teachers for their classes
Ensure that timesheets have been completed by CRT staff, including start/end times and any unpaid break times are recorded for casual non-teaching staff, and that timesheets are signed off and submitted in a timely manner to the College Business Manager for payment through Local Payroll.
Other duties as directed by the College Principal.
Ensure a record of all dates for relevant college events, sports & meetings are collected for Daily Org Dairy and adding to the Huon staff noticeboard at the beginning of each term.
Liaise with the Approvals Committee regarding tours, camps, excursions and incursions on a weekly basis.
Be familiar with and comply with the Wodonga Federation of Government Schools Child Safety Policy, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety.
Handle all confidential information in a sensitive and appropriate manner.
Maintain a healthy and safe work environment and comply with all safe work policies and procedures including familiarising with both campus emergency procedures.
Print out Timetables, Yard Duties and Room Allocations at the beginning of each semester for the noticeboards, Assistant Principal¿s and Daily Org flip chart at each campus.
Maintenance of covers filing cabinets and College CRT Handbook, as changes occur.\
