About the role
This is a fixed-term casual role best suited to mature tertiary student with Environmental Science, Land Management, Customer Service, experience or similar to support campground and commercial operations during the peak season (November to April) at Point Nepean National Park. The successful applicant would be required to work regular (but not all) weekends and public holidays, and be available during the peak holiday periods including School holidays, Christmas and Easter holidays.
As the customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for a customer including members of the public and Victorian community. You will professionally handle information requests and ensure that issues and enquiries are resolved promptly and thoroughly. This position is responsible for the daily customer service tasks involved in providing an outstanding camping experience at the Point Nepean Discovery Tent Campground. Your daily tasks may include checking in and checking out of campers, attending to campers questions and requests, providing information to campers regarding the National Park, Flora, Fauna, History, Culture and the range of services and activities available to them.
This role supports the Commercial Team Leader in providing front-line visitor support at Point Nepean National Park and may be required to support all commercial operations, activations and events. This role will require regular cleaning tasks, basic mainteneance tasks, assistance with campground operations, customer service, visitor experience, support of events and some administration tasks.

Our job is to ensure that all of our campers and park visitors appreciate and enjoy the experience as much as we do, and to ensure they have an amazing camping experience.
