ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Curator, Jenny Bannister Collection provides curatorial and collection management expertise to support the documentation and research of the Jenny Bannister collection, with the aim of improving digital collection access. The role is accountable for enhancing the documentation, management and accessibility of the collection, including detailed item documentation and image capture, data enhancement and preparation of catalogue records for publication on MV Collections, development of collection narratives, and research to support data enhancement and narrative creation.

This is a part-time (0.4 FTE, 2 days per week), fixed-term position for one year from the date of commencement. The salary on offer is a VPS 3.1 Base salary of $81,496 per annum (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation.
The successful applicant is required to undergo a National Police Records Check and Working with Children Check and be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
