Cultural Heritage Management Plan System Facilitator
The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) is seeking to appoint a Cultural Heritage Management Plan System Facilitator to join its team. This role involves supporting the Investment Coordinator-General to monitor the progress of priority projects and support regular reporting to government to improve coordination of cultural heritage management process and assist economic development outcomes in Victoria.
The Investment Coordinator-General Branch ensures agencies, regulators and statutory authorities meet all required approvals deadlines for major projects of state significance.
Reporting to the Investment Coordinator-General, the Cultural Heritage Management Plan System Facilitator will work with investment proponents to confirm the nature of challenges being experienced navigating cultural heritage management processes and identify and escalate project issues to the cultural heritage management plan team within the Department of Premier and Cabinet as required.
The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of and experience with Aboriginal cultural heritage management and experience working with Traditional Owners to enable the delivery of self-determination outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
