What You'll Do
The Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria is searching for a Creative Producer Programs and Events to design and deliver unforgettable experiences for our visitors. From working with Traditional Owners and First Peoples creatives to partnering with leading festivals, artists, and cultural organisations, you'll shape a program that's as innovative as it is inspiring. You'll lead a talented Programs and Events team, championing creativity while making sure every project runs like clockwork. Think bold, immersive programming, meticulous event planning, and building partnerships that open new doors. You'll also be hands-on with budgets, contracts and timelines, making sure everything happens on time and on budget. What You'll Bring
You're an experienced creative producer with a strong background in programming and event delivery across a senior creative producer/programmer across a range of genres and scale and you know how to create memorable experiences that connect with diverse audiences. You understand how nature, culture and science can come together to inspire, and you have contemporary networks across the cultural sector, from festivals and galleries to museums, libraries, and major events. You've built and nurtured partnerships that last, and you value collaboration with Traditional Owners and First Peoples creatives as an important part of programming. As a natural leader, you coach, develop, and inspire your team, earning trust through open communication and clear direction. You're highly creative yet practical, generating fresh concepts while ensuring flawless operational delivery. Your skills span event ticketing, technical and logistical planning, budget management, contracts, and project documentation. You're comfortable with complexity, confident in making sound decisions, and skilled at building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
