THE ROLE
The CPC Service Navigator position will work as part of the of the Victorian Counselling and Psychological Care (CPC) program as part of the National Redress Scheme for people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse (NRS). They will work closely with the CPC Project Officer and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
The CPC Service Navigator is responsible for providing support to clients who have accepted an offer from the NRS. The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (the Department) employs Counselling Service Navigators to work in a sensitive and trauma-informed way as a single point of contact to assess and respond to counselling service enquiries from clients and their family members.
Additional key components of the role include contributing to the development and delivery of trauma informed processes and procedures to deliver the CPC program.
Candidates must reside in Victoria.
