The Opportunity:
The Bachelor of Fashion Design, delivered by the Design and Finishing Trades department, offers a hands-on, industry-connected learning experience in state-of-the-art facilities. With access to specialised design and pattern-making studios, students benefit from expert teaching staff who are active in the fashion industry and engaged in events like Melbourne Fashion Week. Strong industry partnerships provide valuable real-world project opportunities and pathways into the fashion design profession.
The Course Leader plays a vital leadership role, managing staff and students while ensuring the course remains aligned with industry standards and academic excellence. Key responsibilities include overseeing curriculum delivery, student progress, and timetabling, as well as guiding students through industry engagement, awards, and collaborative opportunities with key stakeholders.
