About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Counsellor to join Western Health’s Counselling and Social Work team based in Melton.
This role provides high-quality, client-centred therapeutic services to individuals experiencing a range of psychosocial challenges, including mental health concerns, family and relationship issues, grief and bereavement, and chronic health conditions.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide triage, assessment, and deliver evidence-based interventions. The role involves both individual and group work with a strong focus on holistic, trauma-informed care.
You will also contribute to service development, support junior staff and students, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and positive client outcomes.
Western Health’s Integrated Community Health Services Directorate delivers high-quality care to communities across Melton and Moorabool.
