Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:
Managing project cost controls including budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, cost deviations and change management.
Monitoring and reporting on project performance, developing indicators and providing regular reports and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Analysing costs and trends to identify issues and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track and within objectives.
Improving cost control processes and systems by identifying efficiencies, implementing innovative solutions and reducing manual data-processing requirements.
Managing stakeholders and workforce cost information, providing financial/project advice while ensuring workforce planning and payroll allocation processes are accurate and completed on time
The Cost Controller is responsible for supporting the Project Controller in managing and maintaining cost control functions across VIDA Roads projects. The role works closely with project delivery teams to monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, cash flow and changes, while ensuring accurate and timely internal and external reporting. It also provides analysis and advice to identify cost trends, improve project performance and support informed decision-making.
The position also contributes to improving cost control systems and processes, building effective stakeholder relationships, and maintaining accurate workforce and payroll allocation information to support successful project delivery.
