Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:
Support the Senior Cost Controller in developing, delivering, and maintaining cost controls, systems, and processes, including time phasing budgets, cost variance reporting, cash flow reporting, forecasting, and change management.
Develop innovative performance indicators to assess program and project performance, producing regular reports for management and stakeholders with recommendations for performance improvement/
Regularly review and analyse program performance, including trend analysis in cost, and provide sound advice on corrective actions to ensure program and project objectives are achieved.
Provide input into the development of innovative cost control initiatives that enhance cost control systems and processes.
Negotiate with and influence key internal and external stakeholders to foster effective relationships related to cost controls, providing sound advice to managers and stakeholders on program and project management activities.
Support the coordination of the Month End Cost Reporting Cycle for responsible projects, including processing monthly contractor progress claims, ensuring compliance with contracts, and contributing to the maintenance of the Contracts Variation Register.
This role entails analysing program performance, offering insights for corrective actions, and contributing to innovative cost control initiatives. Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing month-end cost reporting, negotiating with stakeholders, and actively engaging in the refinement of cost control policies and strategies.
This opportunity is a 3-year fixed-term.
