Corporate Legal Counsel (Executive Level)
We are seeking an experienced and highly regarded legal professional to provide the Victorian Institute of Teaching's (VIT) corporate legal function in a pivotal executive level role.
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Management Team and VIT Council, you will provide authoritative leadership, management and hands on delivery of VIT's corporate legal function, ensuring robust governance, legal compliance & effective risk management frameworks are embedded across the organisation.

You are a highly experienced legal professional with significant expertise in governance, regulatory and public sector legal frameworks. You are recognised for your sound judgement, technical expertise and ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity and organisational risk with confidence and professionalism.
You are comfortable working autonomously in a sole counsel role while remaining collaborative, pragmatic and solutions focussed on your approach.
