The Housing, Building and Land Delivery Group drives balanced urban growth by delivering zoned land for housing, jobs and infrastructure in State-led areas, a pipeline of government-owned land for development, an improved building system and expert advice for exemplary design
About the role
The Coordinator General, Land Delivery leads the strategic coordination and mobilisation of government land to maximise Victoria’s housing, growth and public value outcomes. Acting as the central “front door” for significant land-related projects, the role develops and manages a whole-of-government land pipeline, including surplus land identification, and pathways to enable its timely use and development.
The position provides authoritative advice on complex land matters, strengthens policy and delivery pathways, and unlocks surplus government land to support housing supply and broader Government priorities, including policy and priority commitments.
