Coordinator Emergency Management and Business Continuity
About the Role
This is a Permanent Full-Time position at 76 hours per fortnight within the Emergency Management and Business Continuity department.
Working closely with the Manager Emergency Management and Business Continuity, this role is responsible for the delivery of emergency management training, emergency response exercise scheduling and compliance, creating new and updating evacuation diagrams and supporting the manager with emergency management response activities.
The role also provides support to RCH’s Hospital Incident Management Team (HIMT) activities and works collaboratively with the Coordinator Business Continuity to develop, deliver and support the business continuity function.
Classification for this position will range from Grade 5 Year 1 to Grade 5 Year 5 (AO51 - AO55) ($92,856.40 - $102,653.20 per annum).

About the department:
The Emergency Management and Business Continuity department plays a key role in supporting teams across the hospital to develop and manage their Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), ensuring that our critical services continue during unforeseen disruptions.
We work closely with all departments across RCH to help identify risks, conduct business impact analysis, build continuity plans, and ensure those plans are regularly tested, reviewed and updated.
Additionally, we oversee the hospital's Emergency Management function including guiding preparedness, preparation, response, recovery (PPRR) and support any activation of the Hospital Incident Management Team (HIMT).
