About the Role
The Contract Performance and Assurance Officer plays an important role in the MR5 Contract Management team, supporting effective oversight of the MR5 Tram Franchise Agreement through performance monitoring, compliance verification and strategic planning and reporting activities.
This position will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the development, planning and delivery of the MR5 contract management assurance program and framework. Reviews and assessments will be conducted using a risk-based approach and seek to provide assurance that the Tram Operator is meeting contractual obligations across the broad range of Modules including Infrastructure, Operations, Technology, Projects, Rolling Stock. The Contract Performance and Assurance Officer will contribute to assurance reports with well-articulated and evidence-based findings, facilitating continuous improvement.
The position is also responsible for monitoring and reporting on health of contract through management and analysis of compliance and operational data. This includes working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual targets are being met. This role will prepare reports with actionable insights that inform decision making and fostering continuous improvement across all areas of the Franchise.
Additionally, the position will be responsible for the ongoing development, management and integrity of the BIS (Business Information System) for the MR5 contract, including the administration of user access, data management and reporting functions.
