Contracts and Infrastructure are responsible for contract management, commercial oversight and advisory services, as well as the effective management and maintenance of all Corrections and Justice Services' prison and related infrastructure. This includes:
About the Role
The Contract Officer will contribute to the management of range of complex asset contracts and support implementation of contract initiatives including commercial negotiations, procurement activities and briefings to senior staff and stakeholders.
In addition, the Contract Officer will manage the administration and records management for the team, in order to ensure transparency and best practice is maintained.
The role will involve regular travel to prison locations and other sites where contracted services are being delivered and will require overnight travel to a regional site.
