About Us
The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the Role
The Content Designer role supports over 600 Single Digital Presence (SDP) Drupal Content Management System (CMS) users to improve skills in digital best practice and use the unique features of SDP. This is done by providing individual feedback on online training and content through a support desk. The role also creates videos, help centre articles and hosts community events. They will monitor feedback and analytics to look for opportunities for improvement. Success in this role is users who feel supported and confident to use our CMS to create user-friendly content.
Please note: this role is a part-time position (0.6), working three days per week. The successful candidate can negotiate their working days, however Thursday is preferred as it is the team anchor day. If you are already within government, a part-time secondment could be arranged.
