THE ROLE
The Content Creator plays a key role in bringing the Homes Victoria story to life through compelling digital content. Using strong videography and motion graphics capabilities, the role develops impactful content that connects with our diverse communities and supports understanding of Homes Victoria's work among residents, local communities, and the general public.
Working within the Creative team in the Communications and Engagement Branch, the role spans the full content lifecycle, from pre-production planning through to filming on location and post-production. This may include shooting video and stills, capturing agile low-fi content using mobile equipment, or operating drones where appropriate, before editing and producing outputs ranging from quick-turnaround social content to more polished video and animation.
The role will build on individual strengths within the team, however sound skills in video capture and editing are essential. Through this work, the Content Creator supports Homes Victoria's reputation by delivering high-quality content aligned to organisational objectives, brand and values, and tailored to diverse audiences.
You will work across the Homes Victoria brand, ensuring that briefs submitted are delivered on time and effectively reach their targeted audiences. You will be responsible for conceptualising and creating ideas, producing exceptional digital content. You must be willing and able to work across an abundance of projects and manage your time efficiently. You will work with a range of stakeholders within and outside of the Communications and Engagement Branch, including working onsite with our partners to film engaging and creative digital content.
