About the Opportunity
Conservation Graduates support the Conservation team and help to deliver the conservation program for the State Collection. Working under the direct guidance of the Library's Conservators, a Conservation Graduate may assist in the delivery of strategic and philanthropic projects, digitisation, and collection maintenance of a broad variety of paper, book, and photographic formats.
During the term of this engagement, a Conservation Graduate can expect to gain experience in the preservation and conservation of the first four volumes of the Melbourne Survey Plans, funded through an End of Financial Year Appeal, Maps that Made Melbourne.
After 6 months, a Graduate Conservator moves to VPS 2.2.4 ($75,971 p. a. pro rata).
