About the Role
The Compliance Officer - Concession Deed will identify issues of non-compliance with the VicRoads Concession Deed. This role will support the delivery of trusted risk-based compliance and assurance strategies. This position will assess and provide advice and reporting to senior leadership.

Key Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations and standards relevant to compliance with the VicRoads Concession Deed, ensuring obligations are met with accuracy and sound judgement. You will bring highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify emerging issues and trends, assess risk, and provide clear, practical recommendations that deliver effective outcomes.
You will apply proven experience in compliance practices through the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, analytical tools and supporting management systems. The role requires the ability to coordinate planning, scheduling and self-management across multiple programs, balancing competing priorities while consistently delivering agreed outcomes within tight timeframes.
Strong written communication skills are essential, with experience preparing high-quality, evidence-based reports using contemporary reporting tools for senior leadership audiences.
A proactive, engaged and motivated approach to achieving business objectives is critical—energy, accountability and follow-through will be essential to do well in this role.
