The role is responsible for field inspection of regulated electricity network assets.
The work they do will assist Energy Safe to deliver inspection and audit programs that test compliance with electricity network management standards, energy safety legislation, safety management plans, and work procedures. They will aid the promotion of safety initiatives used to inform Victoria's major electricity companies.
The role requires the capacity to understand the methods and work practices used by the major electricity companies to ensure network assets are being managed safely and, in a manner, consistent with their regulatory obligations. This will be achieved through implementing inspection practices, strategies and assessments that confirm the major electricity companies are achieving appropriate and required safety outcomes.
