About the Role
The Compliance Officer (Third Party Provider Services) applies technical knowledge to identify issues of non-compliance with various organisations and service providers including those accessing data as Information Protection Agreement holders, along with vehicle dealers participating in the Dealer Certification Scheme and Used Car Trader Program, and organisations delivering Behaviour Change Programs to support the delivery of risk-based compliance and assurance strategies.

Key Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a sound understanding of Information Security Standards and associated compliance requirements, applying this knowledge to develop, implement and maintain robust compliance frameworks that safeguard organisational integrity. You will bring highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to identify emerging risks, detect trends and recommend practical solutions to address complex compliance challenges. With demonstrated experience in applying compliance frameworks, analytical tools and management systems, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of governance and assurance practices across the organisation. The role requires the ability to exercise sound professional judgement to plan, prioritise and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed service standards and timeframes. The successful candidate will also demonstrate exceptional written communication skills, using contemporary reporting tools to prepare concise, data-informed reports and briefings for senior leaders and external partners. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills are essential, with the proven ability to influence, negotiate and resolve sensitive compliance matters collaboratively and constructively. You will also possess the professionalism, integrity and resilience to navigate competing priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving positive business and compliance outcomes that align with organisational objectives and regulatory expectations.

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or experience relevant to the requirements of the role.

Current valid driver licence
Ordinary hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 7:00pm. This role involves regular travel throughout metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria
