About the Role
Do you bring energy, enthusiasm, diplomacy and a strong drive for results? If so, this ongoing role could be an excellent next step in your career.
A very important role within CFA, as the Community Engagement Coordinator you will strengthen communication and collaboration across the Western Region, supporting the delivery of community education programs and services that make a real difference.
You'll play a key role in coordinating and enabling the delivery of regional and district business plans, while providing informed advice on community risk and vulnerability across diverse rural communities. You'll work closely with stakeholders across CFA and in the field, offering recommendations to improve programs based on evaluation, insights and feedback.
With a strong focus on high-quality community engagement and education across Victoria's west, qualifications or experience in Education or Community Engagement will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will have access to a CFA pool car for travel and after hours work.
About You
We are seeking an open-minded individual with high levels of emotional intelligence, including empathy and self-awareness. Tertiary qualifications in social science, management or education and training are preferred but not essential. Importantly, you will bring significant project coordination capability with well-developed analytical skills, advanced written and verbal communication, and the ability to build strong working relationships. Experience working in rural communities will be highly advantageous. Further requirements include excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to lead, mentor and develop casual and volunteer members.
