The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a short-term (until 7 Nov 2025) VPS4 Portfolio Communications Adviser to join the Portfolio Communications Internal Communications team. The role is a critical function in our strategic communications team, helping develop, deliver and evaluate communications plans and activities across a broad range of corporate programs and initiatives. The Communications Adviser supports the delivery of best-practice and evidence-based communications to bring the Education State narrative to our staff.
