About the role
The Commercial Systems Manager provides strategic leadership and governance for Parks Victoria's commercial systems, billing processes, revenue controls and commercial data. This role is responsible for driving system-enabled transformation, improving data quality, strengthening financial integrity and supporting compliance, audit readiness and informed decision-making across the commercial portfolio.
Day-to-day, the role will lead the ongoing evolution of commercial systems and billing frameworks, oversee commercial billing and revenue assurance processes, support consistent practices across rent, fees, charges and recoverable costs, and lead improvement initiatives that reduce manual handling and improve reporting, transparency and service reliability.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact program of commercial systems uplift, influence enterprise-wide change and build capability across teams while supporting Parks Victoria's broader organisational priorities and commercial performance.
About Parks Victoria & the Team
Parks Victoria is a statutory authority of the Victorian Government, responsible for managing more than 4 million hectares across 3,000 land and marine parks and reserves, including 18 per cent of Victoria's landmass, 75 per cent of Victoria's wetlands and 70 per cent of Victoria's coastline.
The Commercial Directorate sits within the Strategy, Planning and Programs Division, which brings together specialist teams that support place-based management, statewide programs, strategy, policy, data, systems and service delivery across Parks Victoria's diverse estate.
We are a collaborative, improvement-focused team that works across commercial, operational, finance, legal and technology functions to strengthen systems, improve customer service, support better decision-making and deliver practical outcomes for Parks Victoria and the communities we serve.
