At NHW we value courage, excellence, fairness, integrity, kindness and respect. Our purpose is to be leaders in health, who transform and deliver high quality, safe healthcare for all.
NHW has two opportunities (one full time, one part time) for friendly, compassionate and efficient clinical pharmacists to join our award-winning and innovative team.
Upon joining us, you will be well supported by the Pharmacy Leadership Team and your pharmacy & interdisciplinary colleagues, to provide generalist clinical pharmacy & medication management services via our well-established pharmacist rotation program. You'll work closely with your pharmacy technician colleagues to ensure efficient and comprehensive clinical pharmacy services are delivered to your area of responsibility as rostered.
You will routinely utilise your supervision & feedback skills, overseeing and guiding the practice of pharmacy interns and students on placement, and you'll provide education & training inside and outside the pharmacy department.
You'll act as a pharmacy department representative and subject matter expert on relevant working groups and committee/s, commensurate with your experience, expertise and development goals.
Applicants considering a 12-month career break from their existing Victorian public hospital pharmacy role, or considering a rural generalist or rural + specialty rotation as part of an ANZCAP Training Program are encouraged to discuss this opportunity with their current employer, and consider applying.
