Banksia Ward is a dynamic 16-bed inpatient unit dedicated to supporting young people aged 13 to 18 years who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a part-time ongoing position (64 hours per fortnight) within the Banksia Ward education team, where you’ll play a key role in leading, inspiring, and developing our nursing team.
With your advanced clinical expertise and passion for education you will role model and promote excellence in mental health nursing practice, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
In this dynamic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) role, you’ll lead an innovative transition program, supporting up to three Registered Nurses as they make the transition from general or paediatric nursing to Mental Health Nursing. You’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the program and influence how our future mental health nurses grow and thrive.
In addition, you’ll provide ongoing guidance to strengthen and sustain emerging programs within Banksia.
What you'll achieve:
Classification for this position will range from Grade 4 Year 1 (NP75) to Grade 4 Year 3 (NP77) (FTE base salary $112,465.6 to $121,113.2 per annum, plus superannuation).
