About the Role:
This is a permanent, part-time position at 0.4 FTE/30.4 hours per fortnight within the department of General Medicine (Clinical Pharmacology).
You will work collaboratively with the Clinical Pharmacology team to support and contribute to a range of Clinical Pharmacology activities, including the Adverse Drug reaction committee and ward rounds, administer drug challenges, and lead quality improvement initiatives across the unit in toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring, and allergy testing.
Internally, this position will be referred to and known as: Clinical Nurse Consultant - General Medicine (Clinical Pharmacology).
Classification for this position will be governed by the Clinical Nurse Consultant Award, and will range from ZF4 – ZJ4 (FTE base salary $48,678 to $51,240 per annum, plus Superannuation).

About Clinical Pharmacology:
Clinical Pharmacology at RCH sits within the General Medicine department, supports the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines in children. The team provides expert advice on complex drug therapy, adverse reactions, and dosing, while contributing to guideline development, quality improvement, and education. Through collaboration, research, and clinical leadership, Clinical Pharmacology promotes best practice in paediatric prescribing and advances medication safety across the hospital.
