About the Role
The Echocardiography Clinical Nurse Consultant is responsible for the proactive leadership, coordination, and management of the Echocardiography Program within the Cardiology Department at Melbourne Health.
This role oversees referral pathways, triages patient needs in collaboration with medical and multidisciplinary teams, and drives strategies to improve service efficiency, access, and list management across inpatient and outpatient echocardiography services, including Melbourne Private Hospital. Working closely with cardiac physiologists, cardiology medical staff, nursing, and administrative teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining workflows, enhancing patient care, and fostering strong collaborative relationships across services.
