About the Unit
The Austin Health Movement Disorders Unit is one of the largest in Victoria, providing subspecialty management of all Movement Disorders. It has a well-established reputation and expertise in the management of all device assisted therapies for Parkinson’s Disease including infusional therapies, and includes a large Surgical Movement Disorders program providing Deep Brain Stimulation and MR-guided Focused Ultrasound therapeutic intervention.
The unit has extensive expertise in the therapeutic use of botulinum toxin for dystonia, spasticity and hypersalivation. The unit is staffed by six consultant movement disorder subspecialists and a dedicated nursing team and collaborates closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide integrated and patient-centred care to our patients with Movement Disorders.
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant B. This is a Permanent Part-Time position (0.4 EFT – 2 days per week), ideally with availability on Thursdays and Fridays.
