What you will do
As a clinical manager at our newly upgraded Malmsbury facility, you will lead a team that helps young people in custody and community address the causes of their offending and empower them to make positive changes.
You will:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitation services that addresses complex behaviours and support reintegration.
- Contribute to strategic oversight of clinical operations, ensuring quality service delivery and efficient resource use.
- Manage and develop staff through supervision, training and professional development.
- Work collaboratively with partners and other justice professionals to coordinate rehabilitation and behaviour management programs.
- Advise senior leaders on complex clinical issues, program design and service improvements.
We are currently recruiting this opportunity at our Malmsbury precinct, offering a great work/life balance in the countryside of central Victoria. We also offer a $10K relocation allowance for eligible candidates who are thinking of moving to within an hour's drive of the facility.
About you
You will be registered as a psychologist, social worker, mental health nurse or occupational therapist. You will also hold a full driver's licence.
You should also have:
- Experience leading high-performing teams within complex service environments.
- Strong clinical expertise in rehabilitation and behavioural intervention, ideally in a custodial or forensic context.
- The ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships across disciplines and cultures.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenging clinical situations.
- A passion for developing others and fostering a learning culture that supports evidence-based practice.
A current employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card is required and will need to be provided prior to commencement of employment by the applicant. Currency will need to be maintain
