The Department of Justice and Community Safety is responsible for the statutory supervision of young people in the criminal justice system.
Rehabilitation and Outcomes is a specialist team at each Youth Justice Precinct that provides young people with services to support their rehabilitation, manage complex behaviours in custody and support their reintegration into the community.
The Clinical Manager Rehabilitation and Outcomes reports directly to the Senior Manager, Rehabilitation and Outcomes, and works closely with the Statewide Rehabilitation Service (SRS) Senior Manager and other SRS Clinical Managers.
The opportunity
To be successful in this role, you will have experience leading and effectively managing a multidisciplinary team of professionals to deliver services within a complex service system as well as an understanding of the key issues impacting Youth Justice. Expertise in the delivery of criminogenic and non-criminogenic programs is also desirable.
Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a current employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card is required. A WWCC will need to be provided prior to commencement of employment by the applicant and currency will need to be maintained by the employee for the period of employment.
