About the role
The Clinical Informatics Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging clinical practice with digital health technologies. You will support the safe, effective, and user-centred design, implementation and optimisation of clinical information systems across Barwon Health.
Working closely with clinicians, technology teams and project stakeholders, you will ensure digital solutions align with clinical workflows, regulatory requirements and organisational priorities.
Key responsibilities include gathering and analysing clinical requirements, supporting workflow design and validation, assisting with system testing, facilitating change management and training, and promoting clinician engagement throughout the solution lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will be a clinically experienced professional with strong knowledge of healthcare workflows, business analysis and digital health project delivery. You are a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to translate clinical needs into practical technology-enabled improvements that enhance care and safety.
