About the Role
Internally known as a Finalisation Officer, you'll play an important role in bringing matters to an appropriate and respectful close for our clients and their families.
Working within our Finalisation team, you'll manage the conclusion of State Trustees services when a client's authority is revoked, transitions to another administrator, regains financial independence, or passes away.
You'll ensure client files are reviewed thoroughly, accounts are accurate, required documentation is prepared, and funds are distributed correctly and in line with authorised documentation and legislation. Most importantly, you'll provide clear, timely and compassionate communication to clients, families and stakeholders during what can often be complex or sensitive circumstances.
Skills & Experience
You are organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple files at different stages of completion. You bring empathy and professionalism when supporting people with disability, vulnerable clients and families from diverse backgrounds.
You will bring:
Experience in financial services, community services, legal or disability sectors will be highly regarded. Knowledge of deceased estates or relevant legislation is desirable but not essential.
