Range 2 classroom teachers play a significant role in assisting the school to improve student performance and educational outcomes determined by the school strategic plan and state-wide priorities and contributing to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities.
A critical component of this work will focus on increasing the knowledge base of staff within their school about student learning and high quality instruction to assist their school to define quality teacher practice.

Our central redbrick office building has been proudly standing here since 1872, providing generations of young people with a strong education. Concongella Primary School¿s current enrolments are 31. The staffing profile consists of highly experienced, motivated and caring staff. Three full time teaching staff, five education support staff, three specialist staff and a principal. Students are taught in 3 learning environments; F-2, 3-4 and 5-6. 65% of our students come from Stawell by car, 12% live within the nearby area, 10% travel by bus from other towns and 12% travel from further towns not serviced by buses. This diversity of locations is quite unique to our school.
One of our many strengths is the ability and capacity to provide individualised education for all students focused on their point of need. This is achieved through a multi-tiered support system that we have implemented in 2025 alongside our Core Literacy 3-6 direct instruction model and Evidence Based F-2 Literacy Program.
At Concongella Primary School we view technology as a tool for learning to enhance learning experiences for our students. Students in years foundation to year 2 have 1:1 iPads whilst our years 3 to 6 have 1:1 netbooks. The diversity in our program is highlighted through our Swimming Program, Camp Program, Sports Program, Cluster Program, MARC Program and a range of events throughout the year with our local community.
