About the role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the financial management of Sustainability Victoria (SV) ensuring effective governance, and compliance with legislative obligations.
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the CFO leads and manages the activities of the Finance and Procurement team in Corporate Services, enhancing the overall financial and commercial position of SV, providing operational and strategic oversight of financial operations and external reporting; financial planning and analysis: and procurement and contract management.
This position fulfils the role of the CFO within the meaning of the Financial Management Act 1994 and Standing Directions under the Act, and the role of the organisation's Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) in alignment with the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) requirements.
