About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated Chef/Cook who has the qualifications, experience and drive to become a member of the Tallangatta Health Service team. We are now accepting applications from international candidates who already hold a current and valid working Visa (i.e. 491or 482) and are already in Australia. This is a pathway opportunity for Permanent Residency.
In this role you will ensure food for our Residents is prepared and cooked to the highest possible standard, focusing on health needs, satisfaction and overall enjoyment. This role is also responsible for maintaining kitchen stock and ensuring a high level of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
This is a permanent full-time role however part time hours will be considered upon application to suit your family or other commitments. The catering roster works on a seven-day roster from Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 7:00am - 5:30pm with rotating weekends off.
You will have formal qualifications/Trades Recognition and demonstrated practical experience in a high volume kitchen. Experience in Aged Care or Health is highly desirable but not essential as training provided.
