About the opportunity
As a Change Specialist you will play a key role in delivering end‑to‑end change management across strategic business improvement initiatives. You'll assess impacts, prepare and support stakeholders, and drive seamless transitions across people, processes, and systems. This role is focused on embedding sustainable change by building organisational readiness, strengthening engagement, and accelerating adoption of new systems, platforms, and ways of working.
You will contribute by:
- Lead the design and delivery of tailored change management strategies across business improvement initiatives
- Assess and document the impact of change on people, roles, processes, and systems, partnering with teams to validate outcomes
- Identify and engage key stakeholders, assess readiness, and proactively address resistance to support successful change adoption
- Develop clear, engaging communications and learning materials, including training, user guides, and reference resources
- Drive end-user readiness through interactive sessions, demonstrations, and ongoing support
- Provide expert change advice to influence project direction and strengthen adoption outcomes
- Support go-live activities and provide hands-on assistance during rollout and hypercare periods
- Gather and analyse user feedback to continuously improve solutions and enhance the user experience
- Identify and address gaps between system capability and business needs in collaboration with project teams
- Design and deliver surveys and assessments to measure change effectiveness and adoption
- Partner with senior leaders to build strong sponsorship and guide effective change leadership
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organisational change frameworks and best practices
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, IT, and project teams to align change activities with delivery timelines
- Support additional initiatives and priorities as needed
To be successful, you'll have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, communications, change management or related discipline
- Clear, confident communicator who can simplify complex ideas for any audience
- Strong knowledge of change frameworks (e.g. PROSCI/ADKAR) with hands-on experience applying them
- Proven ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive engagement at all levels
- Experience supporting change, training, and communication activities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and quality
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and ways of working
- Skilled problem-solver who can remove barriers to adoption and readiness
- Passion for improving processes, systems, and user experience
- Experience delivering change within projects, system implementations, or process improvements
- Certifications in a change management methodology (e.g. PCI, PROSCI, ADKAR) (Desired)
