The Change Analyst, will play an integral role within the Enterprise Change Management Practice (“ECMP”), which is a key enabler of WorkSafe’s strategic objectives. The ECMP’s role is to prepare, equip and support individuals to successfully adopt changes that contribute to achieving WorkSafe’s strategic objectives.
The Change Analyst role is responsible for conducting change analysis and helping to develop and implement effective change plans and change reporting, to maximise adoption and minimise resistance to strategic and operational change initiatives.
This position supports the delivery of up to five projects concurrently including technology and digital based projects. In addition it may also take the lead to deliver small, lower risk projects with the guidance and support of Senior/Change Managers.

Key accountabilities
- Plan and facilitate Change Impact Assessments with key change stakeholders to inform strategies and change planning.
- Provide input and insights into change planning to ensure change management approaches align with the need of the business. Develop fit-for-purpose change artefacts.
- Assist in preparation of regular status reports of planned change activities against critical path timelines at project steering committees and/or business forums.
- Support the Change Manager in effective stakeholder engagement, aligned with associated plans and other change related functions.
- Work under guidance from the Change Manager to support training teams, ensure training needs analyses, material design and delivery approach is consistent with business and stakeholder needs.

Skills and experience
- Experience in change analysis for large and complex organisations, combined with strong analytical, critical thinking, research and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in applying Change Management methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish credibility quickly and gain a reputation as a trusted advisor.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also being able to work autonomously with limited guidance, reporting back as required necessary.
- Experience and confidence in providing advice and support to leaders through organisational change.
