What You Will Do:
As the Ceremonial Program Manager you will lead the Shrine's expansive Ceremonial Program, overseeing the planning and delivery of more than 150 remembrance services each year that honour Victorian and Australian military service and sacrifice. You will work closely with a diverse network of stakeholders—ex‑service organisations, veterans' groups, the Australian Defence Force, Victoria Police, and state and federal government bodies—to ensure the successful delivery of each ceremony.
The Ceremonial Program Manager is responsible for major commemorative events such as the State Remembrance Day Service and the Shrine's weekly Last Post Service, as well as leading the Shrine's involvement in the planning and delivery of the Anzac Day Dawn Service in partnership with RSL Victoria. You will also support the organisation more broadly by acting as a front‑of‑house duty manager when needed.
As the majority of remembrance services are held on Sundays, the Ceremonial Program Manager is required to work Sunday to Thursday. Some variable hours work will also be required for major events.
