The Opportunity:
Futuretech is a specialised training centre within Holmesglen’s Faculty of Building, Construction and Engineering, developed in partnership with the Electrical Trades Union (ETU). Based at the Arden Street campus, it delivers pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship, and industry-focused electrotechnology programs using advanced training technologies and real-world learning environments. Futuretech is committed to producing job-ready graduates equipped to meet the evolving needs of the electrical and related industries.
A Vocational Education and Training (VET) teacher develops resources, delivery and assessment tools and delivers quality education, training and assessment in accordance with the relevant regulatory standards including Standards for Registered Training Organisations (2015), Training Package requirements, Institute Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS) documents and contractual and funding agreement requirements.
A teacher participates in all facets of the learning process and manages the learning process for learners using a variety of teaching and assessment strategies appropriate to diverse learning needs.
In meeting its objectives, the role provides exceptional customer service and works collegially as part of a team to achieve quality successful learning outcomes.
