Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

VCAT
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. VCAT is committed to delivering an accessible service for all Victorians and is transforming our digital products and services to make it faster, easier, and more convenient for people to come to the tribunal.
VCAT has embarked on a service transformation focused on delivering enhance digital service, providing easier access to services, developing stronger connections with service partners through technology integrations and digital workflows and building an empowered and capable workforce who are receptive and ready for change.
About the Role
Working in partnership with senior leaders and Members, this role will be responsible for managing complex cases, undertaking jurisdictional checks, overseeing case preparation, and ensuring matters are hearing-ready. This role contributes significantly to reducing inefficiencies in the resolution process by applying expertise in procedural requirements and case progression strategies.
The Human Rights Division hears cases under the Guardianship and Administration Act 2019, Medical Treatment Planning and Decisions Act 2016, Powers of Attorney Act 2014, Equal Opportunity Act 2010, Health Records Act 2001, Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, Disability Act 2006, Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation.
The successful applicant will be required to work onsite in Melbourne CBD and have an opportunity to make a genuine contribution by delivering effective and efficient guardianship and human rights services to the community of Victoria.
